I am in San Diego. I did not mean for it to happen, it just did. I was asked to go to a conference and I thought, yeah, why not. Even just an afternoon under some palm trees and next to the pool and dinner with a friend I have not seen in some time will be a nice thing to do.

So I just finished with the conference and now I am changing into my swim costume and am about to be off to play mermaid.

Speaking of costumes, you may remember that I have a deep love for Halloween. Please to be remembering two years ago (we were our favorite nigiri)…

And, oh, for the fun of it, let’s go back seven years ago to my Halloween party in Amsterdam:

What the hell were we in that last photo, you may ask? Well, Frankie (Francesca) and I never really decided… we just put on a toga and wigs and silver body paint and matching tiaras and THERE WE WERE: nuclear naiads, plutonium princesses. That was a good party. They were all good parties.

So, I think I’ve decided to have another one. That’s pretty much how I said it to David, too: "I’ve decided to have a Halloween party". The weekend before Halloween – I don’t know if it will be the Friday or Saturday yet.  It will be a good incentive to finish the last bits of the house. We have tons of room in the back yard. We will have tons of room in the kitchen, but it also won’t be finished yet, so if people spill shit it won’t matter. Our neighbors don’t seem to care much about noise. And I am dying to have people over. So while it breaks my heart to not have a party in Boston with Annie and Dab, I think I shall have to continue the Fright Pint tradition here. Keep it in mind, you Dallas people. It is totally on. I challenge you.
